Centrifuge Q1 2025 Recap

Centrifuge hit the ground running in Q1. We grew the leadership team, unveiled our vision for Centrifuge V3, and closed the quarter with a major milestone: winning Spark’s $1B Tokenization Grand Prix. Read on to see what we’ve been cooking.

Spark Tokenization Grand Prix

Centrifuge’s JRTSY (Janus Henderson Anemoy Treasury Fund, formerly the Anemoy Liquid Treasury Fund) was selected as a winner of the Spark Tokenization Grand Prix—DeFi’s largest and most competitive RFP to date.

The fund was also assigned an AA+f / S1+ fund credit quality rating from S&P Global Ratings, making it the highest rated tokenized fund, having received an “Aa” rating from Moody’s and an “A+” rating from Particula last year. ​​

We celebrated our win at the Real-World Asset Summit Series NYC before heading to Times Square where Centrifuge’s logo was lit up for the whole city to see.

Centrifuge V3

We unveiled our vision for Centrifuge V3.

Key improvements of V3 include permissionless deployment of customizable tokenization products, protocol-level chain abstraction, out-of-the-box token standards, DeFi composability, and availability across every EVM chain.

Also on the product front, we released a major upgrade of the Centrifuge App, making it easier than ever for fund managers to create, manage, and customize their pools.

Tokenization, Unwrapped

We released a first-of-its-kind documentary on tokenization, capturing the momentum of an industry in full force. Filmed across all five Real-World Asset Summits in 2024, the documentary features interviews with 40+ experts from around the world who are shaping the future of finance. We celebrated its release alongside those featured at our premiere event at DAS.

Real-World Asset Summit, evolved

The Real-World Asset Summit has become the trusted IRL platform for the tokenization industry. This summer, we return to Cannes during EthCC on July 1, and back to The William Vale in Brooklyn for our flagship on September 16 & 17. But we didn’t wait for the big stages. This quarter, we introduced two new formats to keep the momentum going:

• Roundtable: where deals get done—a closed-door, Jeffersonian-style gathering held under Chatham House rules.
• Series: the ultimate side event—a half-day version of the Summit, featuring panels and a networking reception.

We hosted Roundtables in Miami and Denver, and launched our first Series event in NYC with Keyrock to celebrate our co-authored report, and where we also spotlighted the winners of Spark’s Tokenization Grand Prix.

New Partnerships

Even we were impressed by how much we packed into one quarter. In Q1 alone, we announced new partnerships with Bouncebit, Plume, Wintermute, and Fraxtal. And we’re already kicking off Q2 strong with Yala, Clearpool/Ozea,n and Wormhole.

It’s RWA season.
